Outing with Cousins!

It seems like forever ago, (maybe because it was) that we met up with Victoria's cousins at the Children's Museum in our area.  I have seen advertisements throughout the city of the Wizard of Oz display that was created for this season and really wanted to check it out.  I was excited when I gave my sister-in-law a list of things to do in the Burgh and she picked the museum! 

Victoria does not get to see her cousins as much as she would like because they live so far away, it is always a special treat when they come up for a visit.

They met at our (old) house and we quickly celebrated birthdays before we were on our way downtown!  We grabbed lunch and had lunch together at the new Buhl Park right outside the museum.  Aunt Christine & her sister came to join us too.  We got a late start heading into the museum, so we saw each exhibit in super speed in order to see & do everything there.

First stop: The Art Room
I love how V is just big enough for the art smock.  She loved painting, until she discovered that it was more fun to paint the floor.

She was not so sure about this clay stuff...

Then we headed outside for some more fun!

Then it was time to play in the workshop.

 After the workshop we headed over to the land of Oz.

We ended the day with some water fun and Victoria made a splash!

So close she can almost taste it!

She went head first into the water table, nothing like ending a fun day with a BIG splash!

(I'm sure it happens all the time, right?)
