We are knee deep in dog hair and boxes as we clean and unpack our new home. We have been working loooong days since Sunday, most nights we are up until midnight and then back at it again at 6am. I had no idea how overwhelmed we would be with the cleaning, the unpacking, the purchasing, everything that goes along with moving.
Monday happened so fast, we closed on our old home and then 20 minutes later, we closed on our new home, all while family & movers were at our house packing & unpacking. Greg & I did a final walk through of our old house, just me and him in the place where it all began. We walked through each room and I visualized my most favorite memory in that room. I almost teared up as we walked in the game room/basement, the place where Greg did the most work, that was our room & now it was left for someone else to enjoy. It was sad to see it all go.
The brightside, we are in love with this house! Over the past few days, numerous times, Greg and I will exchange "I love this houses" to each other, I am sure we have said it more times than I Love You.
We have said it as we are on our hands & knees scrubbing grout for hours, organizing the garage, and unpacking all of the rooms (did I mention V has 2 rooms? every 17 month old needs a sleeping room & a dressing room, right??)
We managed to take a break from the house tonight and went to the Pirates game with my mom. We realized it was time for a break when my mom said, tonight was the first time she has left the house in 3 days! We are so thankful to have her with us this week. Greg and I are so much more productive when we have a babysitter for V. She has also helped with organizing all of the stuff, she has found the perfect place for just about everything, moms are good like that.

Pirates are #1!!!
These shots seriously melt my heart, V and her daddy at the game.
Our little Pirates cheerleader was a HUGE hit at the game tonight!!
She was also the Pirates good luck charm, as they pulled out another WIN!!
