Our Trip to Sesame Place (part 2)

Recap: We arrived at the park when it opened, rode the dry rides, at lunch, changed into our bathing suits for the water attractions, attended the Elmo’s World Live Show, watched the parade at 3pm and then headed back to our hotel to take a much needed rest and grab dinner.  We were back at the park at 7pm for rides, a show, and the 9pm parade.  You can read about the first part of our day at Sesame Place HERE

We did so much and we were only there ONE DAY!

I am glad we did and saw so many things in one day because we knew the weather was not looking good for our second day.

Victoria loved the Elmo’s World Live Show.  It was a small theatre, but we were one of the first in line and scored a great seat.  We were really close to Elmo.

We squeezed in a spot along the parade route, we should have found a spot at least 30 minutes before the parade started, lesson learned for the night parade.  The parade wasn’t long, but they stopped several times to perform small numbers.  It was very cute and interactive.  Victoria was very tired, and watched from her stroller because there wasn’t any room to spread out a blanket.  Her attention to the night parade was a lot better, it is amazing what a nap will do for a toddler.  Here are a few shots of the daytime parade.

After we returned to the park, we attend the Elmo’s Rock Live Show.  We were one of the first people in line and therefore had front row seats to the show!  Greg was even asked to participate in the show, but he declined (can you believe it?!).

Victoria loved the space to dance.  We had to keep her from climbing up on the stage, imagine that…

The show ended with just enough time to grab a few souvenirs and find a spot for the nighttime parade.

It was really cute to see her so interested in the parade, it felt like we were on Sesame Street, the show.  The parade is the same at the day time parade, but with lights.  We picked a prime spot 30 minutes before the parade started, which made all the difference in the world.

The parade was a great way to end our day at Sesame Place.  Unfortunately the weather did not hold up on Friday and we made alternate plans.  Lucky for Victoria, we still have 2 more tickets to use before the end of the season, we are thinking about going back for the Count’s Halloween Party!!
