My dad came to visit the weekend before the 4th of July. He had planned on coming down at some point this summer and we happen to have a lot of house projects where his assistance was needed, so it was a Win-Win having him in town.
If he wasn’t busy helping us around the house, he was busy going places with little V (we never sit still in this house!).
We had a lot of fun taking Grandpa on his first visit to the Pittsburgh Zoo.
The zoo turned one of the pavilion's into a beach paradise! V will get to play in the sand after all this summer.
It was a hot day at the zoo! We went in the morning to try and beat the heat, but we felt like we were melting as we left. Despite the heat, we all had a great time!! We are looking forward to seeing grandpa again in a few weeks.
