We returned from our week-long baby free vacay (more about that in a future post) on Father’s Day. Our trip was great, we relaxed, spend some much needed time together, and enjoyed all we have been given in this beautiful life together, BUT we were ready to come home on Sunday.
I wished Greg a Happy Father’s Day, but he said it was not Father’s Day for him until he had a certain baby girl in his arms. I tried to let Greg have the first hug when we returned, but failed, I gave V a quick hug before passing her on to daddy. She was so thrilled for us to finally be home, she did not leave our side the entire night.
Shortly after we arrived home, we celebrated Father’s Day. There is no gift that could be given to show our appreciation for Greg, but we settled on a Pirates Jersey, Pirates Daddy shirt and Goodnight Ipad story book. His 2 favorites, baseball & technology!
The book is a parody of Goodnight Moon. It is a super cute book for all of those technology lovers.
And Nextflix streams,
And glowing screens…”
We spent the night relaxing and enjoying our little family of three.
Below are pictures of V’s version of cuddling on the couch. The girl never sits still!!
(disclaimer: Greg has a fake tattoo on his right arm)
I could go on and on about what an amazing daddy Greg really is, but the people that read this blog already know how truly blessed we are to have him in our lives.
Thank you Greg for giving this family everything you’ve got and then some. We do not say it enough, we appreciate you & love you to pieces!
